Observation

Cords to the shredder and the television in the playroom and the decrative lights in the outdoor play area can form a loop and pose a strangulation hazard. Kitchen knives/ sharp objects were accessible to children in the kitchen. In the outdoor play area there were protruding nails, broken rain gutter with jagged edges, and damaged and splintered siding posing cut, abrasion and puncture hazards. Large unsecured rocks in the outdoor play space pose a pinch/crushing hazard to hands or feet. Washer and dryer are located in the licesed restroom and are accessible to children posing an entrapment hazard. Sprinkler heads and other irrigation equipment protrude from the ground posing tripping hazards in the outdoor play area. Unable to verify that the bulbs in the kitchen chandelier and the playroom are shatter resistant. The outlet near the sink in the kitchen and the outlet at the restroom sink could not be verfied as GFCI outlets.
